Six providers offer free dMAT practice. This is what each actually gives you, read on 30 August 2026.
We are on this list, and we do not win it. DMAT Club has the weakest free tier of the six: one mock, behind a signup, while two competitors ask for no account at all. We have published that rather than leave it out, because a comparison written by a participant is only worth reading if it admits where the participant loses.
| Provider | Free | Account? | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeapScholar | Full timed mock, Core plus General Academic | No | Express mode shortens the academic module to 45 minutes. No account at all, which is more generous than ours. |
| PrepDMAT | 50 practice questions and a free diagnostic | No for the 50 | Paid bundle is 435 questions at Rs 2,499. The largest free question count on this list. |
| AdmitVerse | First two full mocks | Yes | Two free full-length mocks is twice what we give. |
| Career Wise | Core Module practice and a 60-question mock | Yes, Google | Progress tracking and a review-wrong-answers mode. |
| Jamboree | Sample questions PDF, plus a 20-question diagnostic | Yes, for the PDF | A PDF cannot enforce the timer or the no-notes rule. |
| DMAT Club | One full 56-question mock, worked solution on every item | Yes | The weakest free tier here. Four providers above give more away, two without any account. |
Question count is the wrong metric, and it is the one everybody markets on. Three things decide whether practice transfers to 26 September.
Does it take your pen away? The exam permits no notes, no paper and no calculator at any point. A PDF cannot enforce that, which is why we do not sell one. If you can write while you practise, you are training a skill the exam forbids.
Does it use the real answer formats? Mathematical Equations is not multiple choice — you type a value for every letter. Any mock offering four options there is materially easier than the exam, because you can test options against one equation instead of solving the system. We verified the formats against the official g.a.s.t. demo on 23 August 2026.
Does the clock close the section? Timing is per subtest on the real thing. Time saved on Figure Sequences cannot be spent on Latin Squares, and a mock with one global timer teaches the wrong pacing.
Before any of the six, work through the g.a.s.t. preparatory materials. They are free, they are the only officially sourced questions that exist, and they carry worked examples at three difficulty levels for every Core task type. Nobody — us included — has official questions, and any provider implying otherwise is worth avoiding on that basis alone.
Every row was read on 30 August 2026. These are live pages that change. If you find a row that is out of date, including one that now flatters us less, tell us at hello@dmatclub.com and we will correct it.
One full 56-question Core Module paper with real per-subtest timers and a worked solution on every item. It needs an account. Two providers above ask for less.
