The test takes over the whole screen once you start — no site navigation, nothing to scroll away to, exactly like the real thing. Each section is timed separately and closes when its clock runs out. You can move between questions inside a section but not back into one you have left. Nothing is saved and nothing is sent anywhere.

The dMAT item bank is confidential and nobody outside g.a.s.t. has it. These twelve questions are generated from the published task rules — the same source every honest provider works from.
The real exam reports a scaled 0–200 result with a mean of 100 and the scoring model has never been published. A raw score out of twelve tells you where your weak section is. That is all it can honestly tell you.
g.a.s.t. publishes free official preparatory material at d-mat.de and you should use it. Nobody has to buy dMAT preparation, and any page that tells you otherwise is selling to your anxiety.
This trips people up more than anything else about the dMAT, because most published guides describe all three as four-option multiple choice. They are not. We checked each against the official demo exam on 23 August 2026.

No, and nobody has those. The dMAT item bank is confidential. Every question here is written by us from the published task rules, which is also true of every other practice provider. Anyone claiming to have real or leaked dMAT questions is not telling you the truth.
You can, but you should not. The real dMAT allows no notes, no paper and no calculator at any point in the Core Module. Practising with a pen trains the exact habit the exam forbids, which is why this runs in the browser with nothing to write on.
Not necessarily. g.a.s.t. publishes free official preparatory material with solved sample tasks on d-mat.de, and this page is free. What paid practice adds is volume of unseen questions under an enforced clock. It is useful, not compulsory.
There is no published conversion, so treat the raw score as a diagnosis rather than a prediction. What is useful is the split: if one section is much weaker than the others, that is where your remaining preparation time should go.
